Dragon ball here aswell, it was the first manga I ever read, and probubly the series that got be hooked on anime.

eehh, those screaming fighting animes aren't really my type xD
I'm more of a guy who likes animes where kids are scarred for life, then later mindraped by angels.

Though, the manga > old-anime, cause they just stare at each other for 3 episodes xD

As good as DBZ is, Its true. They just stare at each other for three or four episodes then like a two episode fight ensues.
I'll go with Naruto, Comedy and seriousness. Works pretty well. I like the characterization up to a point. But after a certain point in both, It got a tad stale.
